How to make Macarons without Almond Flour!

Hey guys! Here is a recipe for macarons without almond flour! Many people are allergic to nuts or may not have almond flour, so if you are one of those people, this recipe is for you! :)


Ingredients:

2 large egg whites

4 tablespoons granulated sugar, plus 1/2 teaspoon

½ cup all purpose flour

½ cup powdered sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla extract food coloring (optional)

any frosting or spread of your choice (i used nutella)


Directions:

  1. Put two egg whites in a bowl and whisk until there are stiff peaks.

  2. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue mixing.

  3. In a separate bowl, add powdered sugar and flour. Mix.

  4. Sift dry mixture into wet mixture. Mix gently.

  5. Add food coloring and whisk.

  6. spoon batter into piping bag with any kind of tip.

  7. Pipe batter onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Bake at 280 degrees for 25 minutes, then flip and bake on the other side for 10 minutes.

  9. Pipe your frosting or spread into each cookie and then put another one on top.
